Stephanie Franziska Scholz was born in 1983 in Japan, grew up in Australia and now lives and works in Berlin. The award-winning cartoonist studied drawing and print making at the University of Fine Arts in Berlin as well as the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna and received her diploma in 2012. After completing her studies, she illustrated several books, worked for newspapers and magazines and began a series of computer cut-outs.
