Sonay Yılmaz graduated from Art Education at Inonu University, in 2006.  She is a member of the Turkey Cartoonists Association. Her work was exhibited in Izmir and Istanbul in 2012. She received an honorable mention at the 2013 International, Russia «Without Press Press» Cartoon Competition.

Sonay has also participated in International Festivals in Brazil and Italy.  Many humor magazines like Maydanoz, Neşeli, Gülen Karabağlar, Batısöz. have published her cartoons too.  She is an art and cartoon educater in Istanbul.@sonaycartoon .
