The Doctoral Conference organised by the Faculty of Finance and Accounting (University of Economics, Prague) is the biggest conference solely focused on the doctoral students engaged in Ph.D. studies of finance and/or accounting in the Central and Eastern European region.
Women’s leadership is a global business issue that needs to be addressed systemically across the enterprise and include the involvement of both women and men at all levels of leadership. On June 19th and 20th, The Conference Board will host their 10th Annual Women’s Leadership Conference in New York City. The event will focus on how line and HR leaders work together to advance their organization’s talent agenda and competitive advantage by attracting, hiring, developing, retaining, sponsoring and promoting women in every industry sector. Women and men in senior leadership positions, high-potential women and men looking to enhance and advance their careers, line professionals, and HR leaders are all encouraged to attend.

Geld steht Frauen richtig gut! –
Tagesseminar am 19. Juli 2014
Lange Zeit war das Thema „Geld“ ausschließlich Männersache. Wenn es um Geld geht, sind Frauen und Männer nicht gleich. Nicht nur ihr historischer Ausgangspunkt ist ein anderer, sondern ihre psychischen, mentalen und emotionalen Voraussetzungen sind es auch. Diese Verschiedenheit ist letztlich Ursache dafür, dass heute so viele Frauen von Finanzen und Investments keine Ahnung haben, ihre Gehälter nicht optimal verhandeln und Altersarmut schließlich „weiblich“ wird.
In einem Tagesseminar beschäftigt sich Alexandra Stöhr am 19. Juli 2014, 10 bis 18 Uhr in der Kreisverwaltung in Wittlich mit dem Themenfeld Frauen und Geld.

The European Finance Association‘s (EFA) Annual Meeting attracts over 650 of the leading finance researchers from around the world. Out of the 1,793 research papers submitted for presentation, only 200 will be selected by a committee of academics from top universities around the world. This stringent selection process ensures the high quality of the finance research presented at the conference. The EFA 2014 Annual Meeting will run for two-and-a-half days and will include a Doctoral Tutorial as well as the SFI Industry Forum, a full-day session for industry experts. The conference comprises several social events that serve as excellent networking platforms.
