Can the left parties in Italy and france succssfully embrace business?  In an effort to imprvee eocnomic conditions, both countries are trying to do this.

Beginning in the 1990s with the notion that governmnets are more the problem than the solution we have seen parties and polliticiians of all stripes trying different allliances to make economies strong and stable.  This is particularly true in France and Italy today.
