Meg Whitman, CEO of the company, reports that she wanted to see HP back on track before she split it.  Companies over 40 years old sometimes have trouble adjusting to the marketplace.  What does the split say about HPs future?  Do we know?   What does the speed of the marketplace mean?  WHitman sttill effectively heads both companiies.
